Dumpling Update: 9 Months

So this kids is feeling and looking like less of a baby. He looks so much bigger in this months pictures to me. This post is a little late because right after I took them last week he got conjunctivitis from one of his baby buds and an ear infection along with it. It's been a rough few days and nights but he's starting to feel more like his normal self.

Weight: 18.6 pounds
Length:

stands on his own for a few seconds
pulls up
can get to sitting in his bed
has 3 teeth (2 bottom 1 top)
chatters all the time
having a hard time eating because he's so distracted by everything!
likes to feed himself
is up too much at night
loves looking at books
wants to stand up in the bathtub
his favorite bath toy is a red plastic cup

Mothers Day

We started the Mothers Day celebration with a trip to Chick-fil-A on Saturday night. It's a 2 hour round trip drive from our house to the closest one in Massachusetts. So it's a big deal! Sunday after church and George's short nap we headed to Portsmouth to walk around, enjoy some craft beer and soak up this lovely weather.

Who doesn't love a LUV truck!

Craft beers with ingredients like black pepper, pineapple and dandelions? Yes, please!

George doing what he does best. Charming the ladies.

We ended up at Popovers Bakery before we headed back to the house.

Sitting outside enjoying the lovely weather eating...

...turtle eclairs and...

...and drinking iced coffee.

A wonderful first Mothers Day!

A Trip To The Park

The weather has been amazing here the last few weeks. We are trying to soak up as much of this lovely sunshine as possible. We met George's baby bud Cameron and his mama at the park last week. Cameron hangs out with us a few days a week while his mama is working so Cameron and George really are buds. We started out eating lunch which means George has to be stripped down. He's still a messy eater.

A sweet lady in George made this cute had for Georgia and I'm very thankfully that he actually wears it.

Cameron HATES hats!

So just for fun...
...Georges first trip to the park last year and this year!

Sweet Cam man looks like his mama too.

A Day In Maine

Sunday we took the Amtrak to Freeport, ME for the day. For four weekends in a row Amtrak has been offering a special of $5 tickets each way. So for $20 round trip would could ride the train. That's cheaper than gas to drive! We had a blast and George did pretty darn well for being gone from 10AM-8PM.

Waiting for the train.

George's excited face.

Checking out the fish tank at L.L. Bean

He finally crashed in the stroller for about 20 minutes.

This kid is all about being outside!

It was a long day for the little guy...he passed out on the train ride home.
