Halloween 2015: The Lone Ranger and Tonto

George had been obsessed with the Lone Ranger since getting a cowboy hat and Lone Ranger book for his birthday. He doesn't even call Edith by her real name anymore. She is now Tonto the Lone Rangers Indian sidekick.
We only thought it would be appropriate that they be the Lone Ranger and Tonto for Halloween. They were both really excited about it.

They had so much fun trick-or-treating this year. George made it around the whole circle this time. It was freezing just like it was last year but with multiple layers under their costumes they stayed warm enough.

It only took them 3 weeks to stop asking to go trick-or-treating everyday. Maybe we can get it down to 2 next year.

Halloween 2014

Halloween was so fun this year. George got the whole concept after about the 3rd house and was on a roll after that. He still asks everyday if it's "trick treat day?".
I made George's elephant costume and had planned on  making Edith a peanut costume. A friend had a mouse costume that didn't fit their daughter so I decided to take the easy way out and let her wear that. Edith seemed very excited about being a mouse.

Halloween 2013

George was pretty sick for Halloween but the Saturday before the businesses downtown have a trick-or-treat during the day. We took him last year even though he was too small. This year he was a little sheep. He was adorable!. It was a very easy costume to create, it just took a lot of hot-gluing.

This is right after I got him all dressed up. He thought it was kind of funny.

Our attempt at a group shot.

George loves animals and he had a melt-down on the sidewalk because he couldn't stay and hangout with the mounted police horses and the dog at the jewelry store.

George doesn't like chocolate so he stocked up on Dum Dums

Happy Halloween

I was really excited about Halloween this year. Mainly because I have George to dress up and we had a party to go to. Saturday morning I met few of my mom friends and we paraded our to young to trick or treat babies around downtown. All the shops have candy and it's nice because it's during the day. Saturday night we had the party and it was fun even though we didn't stay long.

George and his buddies Captain Kirk, Tigger and Ella the Elephant.

 Sweets for the party

I was the chef, Nathan the restaurant patron and George the dinner.
