Boat Racing

A few weeks ago we headed up to Lake Winnipesaukee for a little vintage boat racing. Nathan's boss has a vintage hydroplane boat and was racing that Saturday.
The weather started out a little cool and windy by by lunch it was sunny and warm. I've never seen any boat racing and it was pretty crazy seeing boats go so fast on the water.

This is Nathan's boss taking a turn.

George wanted to jump in the boats or walk off the dock.

There was a little park where we ate lunch and watched some of the racing. George had fun with these statues.

Labor Day Weekend

We spent a wonderful Labor Day weekend in Massachusetts and Connecticut with my dads cousin. Nathan left work a little early on Friday afternoon and our plan was to get there around 6. Well after a flat tire and getting backed up in traffic 3 times we made it by 7:30. Barb and Marc were wonderful host and hostesses. We were well taken care of and even came home with a whole case of canned goodness from Barb's garden.

Saturday morning we headed to Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. My brother Phillip was there for the weekend with work. The company he works for had 3 cars they were racing. We were able to spend some time with him during the day.

George's first vintage car race.

Not even there 5 minutes and he removes his shoes.

Making sure it's really Uncle Phillip

A little penguin from Uncle Phillip. It's his favorite stuffed animal right now.

Just a few pictures as we headed back home Monday morning.

I didn't get any pictures of us and my cousins or their beautiful house. I'll have to do a better job next time we go for a visit.
