Mothers Day

Mothers day 2014 was pretty epic. Nathan's mom was here for a visit and between her and Nathan I was spoiled. Nathan made me a hair appointment at the Aveda salon Sunday afternoon and then we ate at our favorite burger place for lunch. It was a beautiful day so we did a little walking after we ate.

Edith slept away most of the day.

George is obsessed with construction equipment at the moment.

Long Days

Here are some pictures from our days at home. There are some super sweet moments and some that are very frustrating. I love these babes more than anything and I'm so thankful to be their mama. We're all adjusting and I think it's going pretty well for the most part.

Here are some pictures from the early days of 2 kiddo's.

Easter Sunday

So I had great plans for Easter. My mom was going to be up to visit and meet baby #2, I was going to make lamb and pavlova for dessert and everyone was going to wear a new spring outfit to church.
Well...I had a baby instead. Here are a few pictures of everyone (not me) from Easter morning. These were taken after church so George wasn't interested in taking pictures.

My people

We still had lamb even though I had nothing to do with it. Nathan was adamant about getting outside and grilling. Mama helped with sides and everything turned out really well.

Another Dumpling In The Pot

We added another dumpling to our pot.

Edith Florence House
April 19th
2:08 PM
9 pounds 8 ounces
22 inches long

Chubby!!

Heading home!

We decided to do a birthing center this time around and it was great. Edith was born three hours after we arrived and we left to come home four hours later. Nothing beats being in your house and in your own bed.

Warming Up & Waiting

We've been playing the waiting game for the last week. Well....actually for about 3 weeks. George was early so I was hoping that this baby would come somewhere between 38 and 40 weeks but we'll officially hit 41 tomorrow.

We're all ready. Very ready! We're doing whatever we can to pass the time.

Last week as I was making dinner and I was super excited because of how well George was playing with his kitchen instead of whining at my feet to be held. I poked my head in the living room to find him sitting on his stove cooking up a storm. He's become quite the climber lately.

He's still a pretty good eater but he's slowly letting us know what he doesn't want or would rather have.

Yesterday was a beautiful day and the second day of our favorite ice cream spot being open. We met a few of George's buddies for ice cream and then headed to the park.

George had a blast running around and wore himself out. He crashed early and even slept late this morning. That hasn't happened in a long time. Spring and summer are going to be good for all of us.

Nathan taught him to throw things in the river.

That's the latest and greatest. I'm hoping we'll be posting about a new baby soon but this kid doesn't seem to be in any hurry to join us.
