Easter

Easter Sunday was spent celebrating our risen Lord at church in the morning, eating lamb for dinner, and taking our first spring hike. It was nice and warm (50's) and we tried to soak up as much as the sunshine as possible.

Nathans vest I made and my dress was a vintage find from before I found out we were pregnant with George. I'm finally getting to wear it this spring/summer. Georges cute little outfit was my older brother Phillips that my mom made and his adorable hat (I think) was Nathans dads.

His saddle shoes were Nathans

Our braised lamb shanks with parmesan polenta and roasted brussel sprouts.

Grammy Came To Visit...

...and we only got one picture.

Swinging

It's finally warming up a bit here. There is a great park right down from our apartment and the snow has melted so we can actually get to it easily. Last Friday I took George so he could try out the swing for the first time. He's a huge fan!

Staycation

Here are some pictures from our staycation a few weeks ago. It was so nice having Nathan home for 9 whole days! This was the first payed vacation he's had since our honeymoon!

Leisurely coffee at our favorite coffee shop.

Had to take a picture of this while we were at the $$ store. Really? Squeezable marshmallow in pouch? Gross!

They boys ready for church

This bakery is called the Beach Pea and it's in Kittery, ME. It's the closest thing to the bakery I used to work at in GA. I just wish it was closer to were we live. There is nothing in our town that comes close.

It was 52 degrees so we sat outside

We did a little driving and saw historical Newington, NH

A little home improvement

Dumpling Update: 7 Months

My baby is growing up too fast! Everyone says this but it's so true. Everyday he's learning something new and growing up. It's flying by. He's mastered sitting up but is unmotivated to do much else. He has no interest in crawling or scooting except in his bed. He rolls from stomach to back well but it takes him a few tries to get from his back to his stomach. He loves, loves, loves to hold your hands and stand up. He will let go and stand on his own for a few seconds. I'm pretty sure walking and crawling will come about the same time. He's still a very happy kid most of the time and pretty easy except for his huge issue with not taking decent naps.

Weight: 17 pounds
Length: 27.5 inches

Is still figuring out how to opening his mouth for a spoon
Loves food (as long as he's not too tired)
Is a horrible napper...seriously...horrible!
Gets up to eat 1 time a night
Can stand on his own for a few seconds
Rolls
Sits up very well
Takes baths in the big tub now & loves it
Is drooling a ton
Yells and shrieks just to hear himself
Gets super frustrated when he can't reach something
Loves music and will dance
Is super ticklish
Hair is more strawberry blonde
Likes to watch me cook
Gets very excited when we open the door to go outside
