If You Like Loud Engines and Fast Cars...

Saturday afternoon we had the privilege of going to the drag race in Concord. Nathan scored 2 free tickets from work last week. It was the first time I had ever been and it was a lot of fun. It started out cloudy but the rain held off and the sun came out for a little while during the afternoon.



Nathan unfortunately forgot his sunglasses and earplugs...two very important things to have at a race.

There were people like us... (yes, I'm terribly in need of a hair cut!)


...and then the usual crowd :)




Top Fuel was one of my favorites as well as the bikes. You literally feel like you're going to be blown away when these things jump off the line. I took some video's but they don't even come close to giving it justice. You just have to see it in person.
