"Picsuse Peese"

George will climb up in the yellow chair or lay down next to Edith on the floor about once a day and ask me to take their picture. It's pretty sweet so I, of course, take their picture. My camera is being loaded up with pictures like these.

Edith 4 Months

It looks like I'm very late, again, on Edith's monthly update. I should be posting her 5 month pictures but at l'll do that later this week...hopefully. Because it's been over a month since I took these pictures. I actually didn't want to post them because after I took them I noticed how horribly stained this yellow chair is. Oh well!

Dumpling Update: George is 2

Little boy George is 2! He's such a joy to have in our family and we're having so much fun watching him grown up. George is a very busy kid and loves anything on wheels, boats, and airplanes. So far his proving to be a good little traveler and has already flown about 10 times. He still loves to eat, a lot, and usually will devour anything you put in front of him. Right now one of his favorites is chicken pot pie.
I want to write down all the words and phrases he's saying now but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to remember all of them. I'll just list my favorites:

There you go Edith,That's it!, Donut mouth?, That's nice, Edith's sweet, Calls meats by the sound they make, runs in to say Hi! to Edith every morning, George help, George crying, George eat, God in the bible (his answer to the children's 1st catechism question),

Party Party

We had a little party for George the week after his birthday. Because most of the kids his age take afternoon naps I decided to do it in the morning and serve brunch. George is obsessed with donuts so instead of a cake I just piled up glazed donuts and put a candle on top. It was so easy that I think I'll probably do a brunch birthday for Edith's first birthday next year.
The theme was things on wheels since that's all he cares about right now. It made decorating easy since I just used all of his toys.

I would have loved to set up everything in the yard but the grass was really wet and it was cloudy so it wouldn't have dried out. We set up the tables and chairs in the driveway and it turned out fine.

George was pretty excited about his candle and donut.

The sandbox was a huge hit! I don't think the kids did anything else other than dig the whole time.

Family picture with the birthday boy! It's been a fun 2 years kiddo.
