Labor Day Weekend

 We spent a wonderful Labor Day weekend in Massachusetts and Connecticut with my dads cousin. Nathan left work a little early on Friday afternoon and our plan was to get there around 6. Well after a flat tire and getting backed up in traffic 3 times we made it by 7:30. Barb and Marc were wonderful host and hostesses. We were well taken care of and even came home with a whole case of canned goodness from Barb's garden. 

 Saturday morning we headed to Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. My brother Phillip was there for the weekend with work. The company he works for had 3 cars they were racing. We were able to spend some time with him during the day.

 Just a few pictures as we headed back home Monday morning. 

I didn't get any pictures of us and my cousins or their beautiful house. I'll have to do a better job next time we go for a visit. 

Fun In The Park

Due to the lack of an afternoon nap on some Sundays we tend to get out of the house for short hikes, walks in the park or trips to get ice cream. It's always better than sitting in the house wondering how it's possible that your child can be so tired but still not sleep. A few weeks ago we headed to Portsmouth for some walking and ended up at Prescott Park.
