Cotton Candy

There are two types of snow (that I know of) wet and dry. I categorize them as cotton candy and powdered sugar.  Our last big snow was powdered sugar. The kind that's dry and light and easy to shovel, remove from your car and drive in. Sunday we had about 3-5 inches of cotton candy snow. This snow sticks to everything, is heavy and wet, and causes horrible road conditions. Wet cotton candy snow does make for the best winter wonderland because everything is covered in white fluff....as you can see.

it's incredibly beautiful, and your sugary description definitely helps those of us who may not be quite so knowledgeable about the differences in snow!
