George Turns 2

George turn the big 2 on Saturday. He had a busy day of great food, fun outings, and a lot of presents.

We started the morning with a few cards, books, and new coloring supplies.

George asks for donuts or pancakes everyday so I made cornmeal pancakes with blackberry sauce for his breakfast.

Nathan assembled his sandbox from Poppa and Mamaw while George was taking his nap.

His big present from Nathan was an old Tonka dump truck that used to be Nathans.

Nathan completely restored it and it looks amazing. George LOVES it!

A handful of local farms were having Farm Days on Saturday. It's pretty much just an open house where you can wander around and check-out the animals and equipment.

First ever hayride!

Sitting on the tractors was his favorite part of the farm.

After leaving the farm we headed to our favorite burger spot. George really likes hamburgers and fries (so do we) so it was another little treat for him.

It also happens to be at the marina and one of George's other loves is boats.

And if all of that wasn't enough we had cake and more presents when we got home.

The last two years have flown by little man. You're such a huge blessing to us and so much fun!
