This week we had our first pickings from the garden. We are going to have more cucumbers than we know what to do with.
I quickly sliced the cucumbers with onion, fresh dill, salt & pepper and a little red wine vinegar. It's starting to be a nightly thing...throw in tomatoes too! I can't wait for our heirloom tomatoes to be ready.

we have had cucumbers this week too...yummy, melt in your mouth cucumbers!! we have also had the most delicious squash that I have been cutting in half long ways and baking with a little seasoning. ava told me that was going to be something she makes for her children one day! of every thing i make, baked summer squash...
